Event billing shouldn’t be this difficult to verify.
The agreement for an event may be spread across a contract, BEOs, amendments and other documents. The final bill can run dozens of pages. By the time the event closes, someone still has to determine whether what was billed reflects what was agreed.
FolioMatch makes that process more systematic: identify possible discrepancies, show the supporting evidence and calculation, let people make the determination, and track corrections through close.

Planners want to pay what was agreed. Venues want to bill what was agreed. FolioMatch is designed around the agreement and the evidence — not around maximizing a claim for either side.

FolioMatch starts with a simple question: does the final event bill match what was agreed?
We’re building toward a more connected event-billing workflow — bringing documents in, reviewing discrepancies, resolving them between teams, verifying corrections and maintaining a clear record of how each event was closed.
Over time, we want FolioMatch to reduce the manual work around event-bill reconciliation while keeping people in control of financial decisions.

Who’s behind FolioMatch
Thierry Hill
Founder · FolioMatch
Thierry Hill has spent his working life around the operational and financial close of events — the moment where contracts, BEOs, amendments and final invoices have to be brought back into line with each other. FolioMatch grew out of that work: the agreement is almost always documented, while the verification of the final bill is usually left to memory and manual comparison.
He builds FolioMatch from Ypres, working directly with planners and venues through their own event closeouts.
FolioMatch is developed and operated by Guidance Belgium EUCV, based in Ypres, Belgium.
